day 19 August 20, 2005 London, England
We woke up early to go see the changing of the guards outside the War Cabinet Rooms and #10 Downing Street.
We strolled Notting Hill, which is a popular place to shop outdoor markets, called the Portebella Market. We met people from Glendale at the Italian restaurant we ate at. The man works for Luftansa in Heathrow, so he told us which terminal we needed to go to.
For a few hours, we watched the Trafalgar Square Festival. There was Chinese dancing through the decades, and African drum music squad that looked like a school band [They rocked though], and some other music with a gangster walking on stilts.
We walked by Madam Tussads Wax Museum, which was not as cool as Lisa thought, so we didn't go in.
We walked by the Sherlock Holmes Museum, which is small and not worth the money, unless you're a Holmes fanatic.
We finished off the day with Westminster Cathedral, which has an amazingly cool tall tower.
